On the morning of August 18, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son, together with a Government delegation and leaders of the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam), visited the Energy and Technical Logistics Industrial Center of Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC). This was a significant occasion for PTSC, as it was the first time PTSC had the privilege of welcoming Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on his visit and working session.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister toured several key facilities at the Energy and Technical Logistics Industrial Center, including PTSC’s site office – the hub for project management and operations; the fabrication yard for major structures of the Block B – Ô Môn Gas-to-Power Project, a nationally significant project affirming PTSC’s position as Vietnam’s leading oil and gas EPC contractor; and the expanded Sao Mai – Bến Đình Yard, a strategic industrial base designed to simultaneously serve both traditional oil & gas projects and offshore renewable energy developments.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son highly commended PTSC’s efforts and achievements, especially in strengthening its international EPC contracting capacity and expanding into offshore renewable energy. The completion and development of PTSC’s Energy and Technical Logistics Industrial Center in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu (now part of Ho Chi Minh City) is a clear testament to PTSC’s strategic vision and correct development orientation. The Center not only serves as Vietnam’s premier oil & gas and energy industrial infrastructure base but also as a launchpad for PTSC to pioneer in offshore renewable energy value chains. This direction aligns with the global energy transition, contributing to reducing reliance on fossil fuels, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, and effectively implementing the targets of Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII and the Politburo’s Resolution No. 55.
